    vtec solinoid onto f22a1?

can i buy the vtec solinoid from a 94-97 accord and hook it up in my 4th gen?
if so what extra parts would i need? and does anyone know the thread where it wires up to the ecu, i saw the pin setups a while ago here, but cant seem to find it.

OMG!!! NOOB alert!! The f22ax isnt VTEC capable with out a Vtec head. If i were you id spend a little more time learning about Honda motors before you ask a question like that. Theres so much information on this site alone you can practically do anything to any cb chassis with almost any h-f series motors just from what you read on here.

      yeah, what he said

yeah buddy trust me i know just about everything in this site. Ive been apart of cb7 for a long time, im just not a thread whore. And ive done just about all the searching there is, and didnt see any posts specific to my question. Just wondering if it were possible. i know all about the f's, h's, k's, and whatever else. But thanks for the info!?

            yeah did that already,,,,thanks?

fuc sohc vtec anyway. Im looking into the f22a6 motor/manifold. Straight up though...which is better f22b vtec or f22a6. I know the A6 mani doesnt go on the b series...right? But if i can find an H23 ill do that.

I think I understand what you are asking and I once wondered this myself before researching. 90AccordSIR is correct in that you would actually need the head as well as the vtec sol. and vtec ecu to read the vtec signal amongst a few other things.
It would be great although if we could simply add a vtec sol. and ecu to the existing engine and get vtec.
