Seatbelt cleaning

My seatbelt is feeling a little crusty, and this morning it took a while to retract properly. I think the issue is it's getting dirty.

What is the procedure for cleaning, and is there any benefit to removing the pillar and trying to clean the assembly?

you should try and get them replaced at Honda under warranty, that's what I did on my Coupe, they gave me two brand new ones since the retractors weren't working.

100% covered under a lifetime warranty if they fail to retract. They'll even cover labor to replace it, as long as one of the motorized belts isn't broken.

My 93 Coupe has conventional belts though. but they did fix my lap belt on my 90 Sedan for free.

Mine doesn't retract all the way ether at all and two of the seatbelt clips clip in but you can easily pull them out so your saying I can get them replaced for free as long as the retractors work? Will I have to pay anything at all?

nope, it should be 100% covered. I had them replaced on all 3 accords I've owned so far without any issues at 2 different dealers.
