u can always find the RPM line in the engine, its the blue one..u put a voltage tester to it and it will tell ur rpm...
perhaps ur fluid is low....What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.
You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

no oil additive..only at last option.
people will say honda atf ($3.80/quart)...i contradict it cause my car started slipping with it. yet thats my car, others had have good results...
the car is reconmended dextron 2/3. a good one is chevron or penzoil dextron 3. they are about $1.50 to $2.50 a quart.
your drain and fill should be about 3.5 quarts....make sure you clean the magnet...
yet that was for an automatic....
if you have a manual then i am not sure, refer to your manual...or someone else will help
please be a little more specific when it comes to asking things, year of the car, automatic or manual transmission etc....at least we can help you answer your questions faster. What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Accordztech: If your transmission is/was slipping, it's not the fluid's fault. The transmission has a worn clutch pack somewhere due to DIRTY fluid. It may be clean now, but can't have always been that way, no matter WHICH fluid you put in it.
Manual F/H series transmissions will need 2.5 Quarts of fluid. The Honda MTF is a good synthetic fluid, but then you can also use 10/30 oil, or many other manual transmission fluids like GM's Synchromesh. Again, personally I use Honda MTF, and we use it on ALL of the customer cars at work.Visit us at http://www.valleyspecialists.com for all of your Honda and Acura service needs!
