Is it SAFE to re-use a clutch kit???

So, I bought a brand new oem exceddy clutch kit for my 4dr cb7 in 06'. Now that my 4dr is a goner and my 2dr is in need of a new clutch, it safe to reuse the clutch on my 2dr? By the way, I'm a broke ass right now and I really just want to slack something on for now until the spring or summer time. Thank you for your inputs.

they say that youre supposed to line up the pressure plate and flywheel the same way that they were while they were previously installed, but regardless, it should be fine... as long as it isnt worn too badly...

How many miles on it? You should be fine as long as it not worn to hell, just check for the major issues(cracking , scoring, etc.) It should be fine until you can get a new one.

what if I can fine a brand new replacement clutch disc? Would any brand be compatible with the exceddy clutch?

check it for hotspots and othermarks on the surfaces (flywheel and pressureplate). if its got lots of meat left on it, use it.

i'm not sure of pricing but just replacing the disc usually ends up with a chatter. how much more is a new kit? if you want to try a new disc and used pressureplate make sure to have the flywheel turned as everything has mated to eachother
