My sputters when it get down to E, so i know its out of fuel. As far as the gauge i know it reads wrong, i get 250miles for the first half tank and about a 100 for the last. I need to replace the sending unit I just don't have the time and it's not big of a deal.

      Your tank holds 17 gallons.
Which means, you have 5 gallons left when you get to "E".

      most likely

the most i went till it was near E was 255 miles

so for a 17gallon tank that we have, lets say 30 miles average highway/street

17 gallons we should have do about 521miles.

i will say we have on a 13-14 gallon tank is more likely what we have.
are we there yet are we there yet are we there yet

Look in your owner's manual, it clearly says 17 gallon tank.

this really is not open for debate lmao... people say "it must be 14 because i usually fill it with that much"

the ACTUAL capacity is 17 gallons... the WORKING capacity is 14 or so.

I didn't realize it was going to be such a debate. I'm amazed at the number of people who say the tank is only 13 gallons. I know the manual says 17, but there are a LOT of people who apparently have never dropped below the reserve. 4 gallons is a HUGE reserve, Honda planning FTW!

I've honestly never seen the gas light come on.
                            But, I know I've gone 100 miles after I got to "E".

yes im pretty sure people think they are "empty" as soon as it touches the E line. the low-gas light doesnt even come on until the needle is just UNDER the E line, and then you still have like, 3+ gallons in the tank. though i would say only 2+ or so of that is usable to drive to get gas, because depending on the angle and how you park, the fuel pump wont be able to reach ALL of it.
