I know that Royal Purple is the Sh*t when it comes to motor oil but why does it cost so much more than normal oil?

Royal Purple is expensive relative to conventional oil because it's all man made and leaves virtually no contaminants behind in your engine as typically seen in conventional oil that contain miscelaneous elements thus promoting sludge.

It's leaps and bounds better than Mobil 1 full synthetic. Believe me as I ran royal purple for 5 thousand miles and once I changed it back to Mobil 1 because I was a little strapped for cash my car felt rougher with this fresh oil opposed to my dirty royal purple.

People think I'm just feeling things that arent there but I notice just about everything with my car.

AMSoil burns less than royal purple and after you get it warmed up with a couple trips to 7 grand on full throttle your car feels like butter. Royal purple has a similar effect but not as apparent and mobil 1 ehh.

There's a lot of information over synthetic and conventional but I chose synthetic for its anti sludging properties and well I want my motor to be as frictionless as possible with something that I feel I can afford the extra $12 per oil change.
