try to prevent the pedal from falling to the floor, it;ll help prevent premature master cylinder seal failure.

Yea wen u pump the brake do short pumps. It also helps the air bubbles inside the break fluid not superate into a bunch of more little bubbles.

probably damaged the seals inthe master or other components. anything other than brake fluid seems to swell flex lines, caliper seals, master cylinder seals. as ATS666 stated. so after its flushed check it out real good for leaks at the hoses and calipers. maybe do another check after a couple weeks. if any doubts have someone who qualified check it out, saftey is worth it

hm.. sounds to me like the ps fluid messed up the lines.. try getting some stainless steel lines.

also i know that a hard pedal means brake booster problem so look into that.

goodluck man. ive dealt with brake problems myself and it effin sucks.

Check that you have adequate free play at the pedal. If you don't then when you release the pedal not all of the pressure escapes back to the reseviour and the brakes are held on slightly. They then overheat and the pressure increases, but still can't escape back into the reseviour so the brakes progressively 'self apply', getting more firmly applied and hotter and hotter............
