    Stock external coil?

I was in the junkyard a few days ago and was checking out some Accords and I came across one with an external coil. I didnt know what to think until I checked the harness and it was completely stock, wired into the main engine harness. I cant remember exactly what engine it was, but Im seriously confused. I didnt think any Hondas came with external coils stock.

    90-91's were internal
    92-93's were external.

You can also convert internal coil to external coil.

Well shit, I dont know why I didint notice it sooner but I guess its because most 92/3s are missing engines.

yeah its a nice upgrade, going to external coil. The internal coil is somewhat weaker, so a lot or people do this to get better ignition or more reliable ignition.

Wouldnt you need to swap over the entire engine wiring harness?
