My battery every now and then will accumilate too much static in it and wont work. I will go to turn the car on, everything works, and then I go to start it, and it dies, everything goes off. I pop the hood, wiggle the neg. terminal around, and get the static off, and it works fine. I redid my ground wires, but they are much better than stock, and i shaved plenty of metal for the contacts. Should I get some of that battery grease or whatever that is called for it? It did it a few times in FL, but now that im in Michigan, it does it a little more.

wiggle? is it loose?? those OEM terminal post holders arent that great after a while and will break.
another....most auto stores have a diagnostic free for enging electronics....What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.
You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!
