so i have the cams set at 15deg btdc or what ever they should be and having the timing correct altho now that i think of it it wont be that hard to get the crank and the cams set up lol

UPDATE
ok time to get this build officially under way hehehe
after taking a closer look at the combustion chambers i noticed that the area that had the dings in it was flat so i just took my dremel and a fine sand roll and buffed off the pieces that wer sticking up then used a super fine roll and made it smooth then used the roll on the other 3 to make em simaler

might look into those to raise compression back from the material you removed... plus if youre redoing the head like you are, it may be worth installing freshly cut valves and new valve seals...
i ordered the chrome set, waited a bit, then they told me they can only get the black nitride coated ones and they upgraded me for free

yea but i dont think they will work with the f20b will they i thought the f20b valves had a sharper edge to em
edit: but if they dont then ill do that

I would take the pistons out and inspect them thoroughly. also the rod bearings. mine had slight scratches on the cyl. wall, and the bearings were showing detonation.The beginning of a new era............................
165 hp 149 ft. lb. torque sohc non vtec. then....
184 whp and 149 ft. lb. torque f20b stock now......

im hoping thats not the case if it is will i just be able to hone it if its not to bad? i can get new oem bearing for the f20 for $14 a piece

you guys think i should sell my cams, valve spring, retainers on ebay? or should i keep the cams? hmm i could turn em into some jdm inspired furniture altho i could make quite a bit off the parts
