afaik OBD1 spec calls for a heated o2 sensor.
My own car is an LX and it has always had a 4 wire o2 sensor.
My brother in laws 1990 LX has a 4 wire o2 sensor.
the 1990 DX he had before that had a 4 wire o2 sensor.
The hundreds of accords I worked on while managing a honda repair shop, being a mechanic and working as a parts puller and mechanic at a honda only salvage yard/repair shop....if they were 1990-1995 they were obd1 and had 4 wire o2 sensors. I have never seen an accord that is newer than 1990 and has a 1 wire o2 sensor, and doesnt have a check engine light. I would not be surprised if a few are out there, after all there were a very few late 1989 models that were obd1 compliant as well.

The different part numbers indicate a different length pigtail, and either male or female plugs....

Modify the wire and plug you can fit the vtec sensor.

here are the differences the 88-90 o2 and 91-93 dx,lx o2 sensors are different from the EX o2 sensor therefore will not work on the H22a since My f22a1 does not work. (Nail it wasn't the speed sensor it was the o2 sensor rofl) part numbers are listed below. Reason for this is that the DX,LX motors was closer to the to the engine since it would not need to be heated. as for the EX,SE further down they are high output o2.

            the accord o2 sensor (f22a1/f22a4)
            36531PT3A12 -
Electrical - Powertrain control - Powertrain control - Oxygen sensor
Oxygen sensor, accord, 4 cylinder, dx, lx models 1991 - 1993
            36531PT3A12 -
Electrical - Powertrain control - Powertrain control - Oxygen sensor
Oxygen sensor, accord, dx, lx models 1988 - 1990

            the accord o2 sensor (f22a6)
            36531PK3A05 -
Electrical - Powertrain control - Powertrain control - Oxygen sensor
Oxygen sensor, prelude, w/fuel injection, w/high output 1990
            36531PK3A05 -
Electrical - Powertrain control - Powertrain control - Oxygen sensor
Oxygen sensor, accord, ex, se models 1988 - 1990
            36531PK3A05 -
Electrical - Powertrain control - Powertrain control - Oxygen sensor
Oxygen sensor, prelude, w/high output 1991
            36531PK3A05 -
Electrical - Powertrain control - Powertrain control - Oxygen sensor
Oxygen sensor, accord, 4 cylinder, ex, se models 1991 - 1993

the 92-95 prelude SI, Vtec, and SE o2 sensor (h23/h22)

            36531P54003 -
Emission system - Emission components - Oxygen sensor - Si se and vtec
            Si se and vtec 1992 - 1995

the 96 prelude Vtec and Si uses a different o2 (H22/H23)

            36531-P0A-A11
Electrical - Powertrain control - Oxygen sensor
Oxygen sensor, prelude, vtec model, front 1996

            the 94-96 Prelude S 02 sensor (f22ax)

            36531-P12-A03
Electrical - Powertrain control - Powertrain control - Oxygen sensor
Oxygen sensor, prelude, w/high output, s model

            the 92-93 Prelude S o2 sensor (f22ax)

            36531-P12-A12
Electrical - Powertrain control - Powertrain control - Oxygen sensor
            Oxygen sensor, prelude, w/high output, s model 1992 - 1993

SO in other words if your upgrading to a H22a or H23 from a dx/lx model car you need to get a high output o2 sensor or you'll either get no CEL or CEL for o2 Speedometer SPeedo won't work. If any other questions feel free to argue with

make me a sticky rofl i bet there is something like this somewhere
