so...why not just do an automatic swap?...the V6 auto would instantly make the car a nice fast cruiser.

IMO the 6-speed tarnny would make this swap the whole lot better

For a swap of this magnitude, an automatic transmission seems like a pitiful companion.

This has gone full circle now. We are answering questions that have already been asked and bringing up points that have as well.

a 6 speed manual would be epic for a CB7

to be honest, this thread cant REALLY go anywhere without somebody actually jumping in and doing it. otherwise it is all speculation. its good to plan ahead and research things, but you wont know what hurdles youll come across and how to handle them until you actually get there.

Have you actually driven a 5 speed V6 powered Honda lately?

The 6 speeds are stronger, but the 5 speeds are no slouches, and honestly, it would have some advantages in driving. Don't forget the 3rd gear syncro issue with the 6 speeds.

                            2 things

Legend has a C32 (iron block)

Legend motor setup goes north-south + wont fit in the CB left to right

I still think a J block to K tranny adapter is the answer to the tranny issue
