ACCLUDE91, that sounds like a lot more work than what now seems like a relatively simple V6 J-Series Swap.

Although I understand the need for the dynamic advantages of a rear wheel drive setup, I can't but help think how satisfies I will be with a FWD V6 CB7 with 300hp on tap...just sticking with the program.

If we were to parallel the V6 swap with that of the K20 swap, we should be able to get some good demand for the swap itself. Considering comparable costs, the J-swap seems to offer much better power/torque, sound, cylinders, and all that jazz. ...just my .02.

If I didn't not have any money and if I was working instead of schooling, I would so be on this already.

Go for the new J35 in the 6 speed Accord coupe. It puts more out at the hubs than that one does at the crank.

I love the fact that honda has woke up and is making the accord coupe more of a sporty car, than simply a grocery getter.

                  OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG

I was really drooling when I saw that rear end for the rx7...I'm going to have to get a spare cb7 to make it rwd now. I love my cb, but I don't love fwd.

I love my 240 as well...but...how bad ass would it be to do a rw burnout in an accord?

                  (all right now I don't mean right wheel...I do those stock...I mean..Rear wheel... :P)

im thinking about this rwd cb7. How hard would it be to rotate the intake manifold so that it doesn't face the firewall? or how about custom itb's? and I guess the best engine management would be aem ems?

A rear wheel drive CB7 sounds great, but how feasible would it be?
Just the Chassis modifications alone would take so much effort and resources.

In return for the resulting economic costs you would probably be able to buy yourself a nice rear wheel drive V8...

I don't want to discourage you, just want to keep things in perspective. Spending 20,000 on a RWD 240hp CB7 sounds great, but how much better might it be compared to a J32 V6 300hp FWD CB7?

The J32 V6 swap, which is on what this thread is originally based, almost seems practical in comparison.

yea i say v6 more practical and it would require almost no chassis modding jusat cutting off and replacing the engine mount point brakets everything else is crossmembers which just unbolt

And time = money, so yeah it would take alot of money. People are estimating the V6 swap to come out somwhere around $10K. And that's with little to no chassis modifications. Do it if you want, but it would be one hell of a project.

We could probly do a rwd v6 setup in a cb7 for like 5g. We have everything to do it and the knowledge to go with that. I would love doing somthin like this in my cb but I want it to be the reliable DD.

For the whole reflashing, and MIL testing you would have to wire up a obd2 test connector. Which lets you use a snap on scanner. On certain models you can use that to flash the ecu. Its an option if you have access to a scan tool.

I would like to do a v6 swap since there is a direct bolt on supercharger kit for it. I love that wine ====)--- --- -- -- -...
