    mounting h22 ecu

how do you mount the jdm h22a ecu onto our cb7's when the plate is too small for the larger computer, is there a proper way to fabricate it without having to worry about my passenger kickin it by accident, theres nothing on the swap guide that mentions this dilema

I'm pretty sure I've got a dingleberry as well. I wasn't even using the kickplate for a few months. I'm not sure if my shop screwed it down or not... I'll have to ask MRX (he was the first to touch it after the swap)

just let it dangle... that ecu plate is just another thing in the way to take apart next time you want to get to your ECU. with the carpet put back over it, itll sit pretty steady and not really vibrate/move at all, and its a metal case, so kicking it wont really hurt it.

the first time i did my swap i strapped down the ECU to keep it from moving, but found it to be more of a hassle than a help...

Kicking the wires loose would be a problem though... I prefer to have it covered. I guess it all depends on who you have in your car. Other car guys will understand. Clueless, tall, oafy people will not!
