make sure you count the pins correctly.

      1 3 5 7 9...
      2 4 6 8 10..

with the female end facing away from you(as if it was plugged into the ecu.) Count ALL pins, not just the small ones. make sure you also have the correct connector.

that is helpful, but not enough I guess. I think they need an actual picture of a connector showing which is pin is which. atleat with the ends numbered, that should be enough.

a lot of people just dont know how to count the pins correctly.

ok now that i have gotten a good night sleep (i was up till 1:30 last night which was early compared to the other nights) i went to look at the wiring i got all my diagrams and engine light code and i see that the wires that were added were in the wrong space ( my main man was doing my wiring and got mixed up ) so i fixed it. then i unplugged the cruise vac line from the throttle body and plugged it . i checked to see if i was throughing any codes and i wasnt so i backed the car outa the garage and started driving down the road at about half or less throttle i reved it to 5 k rpm then i put it in neutral and the revs stayed at 3 k rpm for about 10 seconds then i turned around and went to WOT and there was fuel cut off at 4k rpm now i am right freakin confused and pissed off cause i dont know whats wrong can anyone plz help me.......i am well aware that a vac leak will do the rpm thing but it is only after i have aplied load to the car and then the rpms drop back down again to about 1000 rpm plz sumone give me sum stuff i can check or fix...my dad suggested a dirty fuel filter( it hasnt been changed for a while.

Were you revving that high on a cold motor? Not a good idea.

Does the car idle fine all the time... do you hear hissing in the engine bay (vacuum leak)?
If you rev it up a little in neutral will it stay high. If it does, if you pull up the gas pedal, do the revs drop?

no it was not a cold motor it was warm( radiator fan on )

i dont hear hissing in the engine bay

if i rev it in neutral it will not stay high it drops back down wether i put it to the floor or not ( i checked the throttle cable it has slack )
when i apply load to it aka. driving after i let off it revs to 3000 rpm and holds until i put on the brakes and stop then let off brakes and clutch
when i rev it up in neutral it hits a rev limiter at 6200 rpm

now when im driving on 1/4 throttle no more it will go to 6200 rpm and it hits a rev limiter

if i floor it very soon after i floor it there is fuel cut off ( its like u hit a wall or slam on the brakes really hard ) it also feels like it bogs a little when i go wide open throttle

plz i need help here im not throwing any codes
my vacume lines from the map sensor are correct

i am seriously considering taking it to a honda specific perfomance shop just because ive had everyone i can think of who knows anything help me out and they are boggled
