Give a hint on your next motor swap. use Saran Wrap on your fenders and Parts you remove and place on the ground. You can use the saran wrap on the bolts so you dont loose them in the dirt. Welcome to the dirt motor puller club if this is your first pull.
How much fun was it to move the Cherry picker around on dirt?WHY ARE HURRICANES NAMED AFTER WOMEN? CUZ WHEN THEY CUM , THEY ARE WET AND WILD AND WHEN THEY LEAVE... THEY TAKE YOUR HOUSE, YOUR CAR AND YOUR MONEY....!

wayne looking good, so were the pics you sent me last night... its a bitch (especially in the dirt) but its a huge learning experience.
its 9:37 and maple should have finished and returned the hoist by now... hopefully all went well and he got that motor back into the coupe!!

hmm the load leveler looks like it's in the wrong position or at least not in the optimal position. there are points on the motor where the chains are recommended to go (front power steering bracket and then the rear tranny next to the speed sensor). here is how i did mine but as someone stated you should be fine on a solid bolt or place. i've seen many variations but the recommended spots worked for me.
notice i also kept the leveler as close to the motor as possible so the hoist doesn't have to go too high to clear the car. i did pick the motor from the side and not the front like most people. keep us updated!

ah fuck. im pissed ive been up since 6am and its 5pm now and i have to go to work.
I got motor in, everything assembled. all my lower balljoints are shit. the joint spins with the bolt. so i cant even get it on and the tie rods are doing the same thing
shit's leaking below the intake manifold. I think its the thermostat housing, or its fucking leaking shit into the oil. IDK
fuck im pissed. I need this working IDK
And the clutch peddle is all teh way to the floor. I bled it and its still fucked

on the ball joint, press down on it, then turn the nut. I had this problem a few days ago while doing a swap in my friends EF. just put enough pressure on the top of the joint and it should stop spinning.
also, make sure you have no leaks on the transmission. I forgot to tighten down the banjo nut on the tranny where the clutch fluid goes in and when i was flushing, it would not get any pressure. it was BARELY leaking, but just enough to where it wouldnt get pressure.

oy... doing 2 swaps at the same time is a huge PITA. i had to do it once a while back, but i had to put both motors back into the opposite car, and get both running... that sucks extra specially much that youre on dirt,
i didnt get your call wayne because i was at work and hardly have service - call me when you get a chance
