    engine take out

wats up everyone. i was curious if it is possible to remove the engine without removing tranny. i got 90 cb7 with an H22 auto. thanks

P.S. i just dont wanna go thru all the mess with axles

You have to take the axles off in order to get the motor out

I dont think its physically possible...

youd still need to deal with the driver side axle whether you take the tranny out or not.

its really not that hard, if youre going to deal with the whole motor and exhaust, 2 axles isnt a huge deal.

      easiest way to do it:

take the wheel off. take the cotter pin out of the lower ball joint and loosen the nut most of the way. put a jack directly under the nut and jack up the whole suspension (by the nut) most of the way up. while held up against the pressure of the shock, beat the side of the end of the control arm near the ball joint with a hammer. with the balljoint being pressed upward by the jack, the control arm being pressed down by the shock, and the sharp impacts by the hammer will pop it loose and youll see it pop. then you can lower the jack and take the nut all the way off. remove the damper fork from the bottom of the shock by removing the 17mm cross bolt and nut, and the 14mm pinch bolt. remove the fork. the knuckle will now swing around freely and will give you enough room to pop the axles out of the transmission and push them out of the way of the motor, but not have to deal with removing the huge axle nut.

So does this mean you're parting out the CB7 shell?
