Well this shit is starting to piss me off. I have to use the f22 trans. because the h23 trans decided to take a shit on me, but for some reason the f22 trans will not go all the way into the h23. The input shaft will go in about halfway maybe more so that the bell housing is about 1inch to 2 inches away from the block and it won't want to go in any more. I talked to a friend about it and he said try puttin the motor on TDC and I did but it still does the same thing. I looked in one of the Chilton books and it said nothing about the motor being on TDC, but I dunno if its the way I read it or what but it seemed in the book it was saying to use the bell housing bolts to make the trans flush with the block. I thought that the trans. should always be flush with the block before tightening the bolts but correct me if I'm wrong. And let me know if I'm missing something asap b/c i really need to get this done.
