omg my heart is pounding...
WHOOA yeah...
hooked the battery up, got scared to death to turn the key (remember this is an ebay engine so i had no idea if it were good or not).... turned the key for the FIRST TIME IN A WEEK... it cranked for 5 or 6 seconds, and it took... THE CAR STARTED...
you have no idea how happily excited i am.
CEL turned on, got the codes... 21 and 41... so my vtec sol might not be wired correctly, and 41= o2 sensor, which is part of the downpipe, which isnt connected, so thats a given... so it all went together perfectly!!!!!!!!

so heres the current list of stuff to finish:
1. put the bumper and headlights back on (both have been updated.. will post in members rides)
2. fill the clutch cyl and lines
3. drive it to some place to get a 2.5" flange welded to my cat so it will mate up to the new downpipe (not getting an exhaust yet)
4. bring it to get a lower ball joint replaced- *EDIT* wikkedv16 gave me a suggestion to get my current one to work... gona try it... might not need the joint replaced!
5. DRIVE IT TO HONDA DAY AND HAVE A GOOD FREAKING TIMELast edited by cp[mike]; 03-24-2004, 08:48 PM.

i dont know jack about swaps but i remember when i bought an exaust for my accord they had 2 kinds, japan and us spec. the differnce was a tilt in the flanges that bolt up..i need a japan made one...What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.
You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!
