The motor/tranny did come with pretty close to 43,000 miles on it. The stock LSD is pretty durable isn't? The possibility of that scenario happening(previous owner burning it up and replacing it) isn't that high is it?

if you want it to sit 100% perfectly, the bracket on the passenger side needs to be cut out and replaced with the 5spd one.
ive heard of some people having axle issues with the 4g prelude tranny mount, others didnt...

Well I finally took the axle out and measured it at worker with the help of a co worker. The axle was 2mm too long. axle is 49mm and from the back of the wheel bearing to the tranny, its 47mm. When the co worker was putting the axle back in for me he did notice that it was harder than usual to put it back it. Gonna order that axle monday and hope for the best.

You really need to focus on the passenger side mount. That's just going to cause you to ruin your new axle(which won't solve the problem anyways). My Members' Ride Thread - It's a marathon build, not a sprint. But keep me honest on the update frequency!

well if the axles were brand new, they shouldnt be the wrong size. I guess they could have given you the wrong part, just check the numbers.
If the axles are accord axles and they are not working, then it leaves nothing but the engine/tranny install to blame. The only problems with swaps and axles are when it is converted to 5spd, and it always ends up being the tranny mount.

if you are not using the accord mount and accord bracket on the top of the transmission as well as the other 3 mounts being accord units I have never seen an engine that sits right. Every swap i have seen over the past 5+ years that is done that way that I have seen myself has issues with axles binding, wearing out faster than they should, or breaking.
