    what is this?!?

who on here can tell me what this is, what its for and why do i need it. its a soenoid located beside the fuel rail and has a vacuume line that runs from the FPR to the solenoid and into the IM. ive succesfully finished a h22 swap (november) and in the meen time i was just bypassing it to my intake manifold. its worked for now but its prob the reason why im throwing a CEL ( that and bypassing the IAB). any info would help, thanks. sorry i have a pic but not sure how to post, some help?

sounds like your describing the FPR solenoid; doesn't need to be hooked up whatsoever. you can run the vacuum line from the FPR directly to the intake manifold.

about your CEL, jump the wire harness and check exactly what CEL you are actually getting.

primo's right, FPR solenoid that lots of jdm motors came with. you can bypass it and remove it without any issues.
