    f22 removal

began the process of removing the f22 and ran into a problem, the wiring harness clips on the passenger side are difficult as fuck to remove..did anyone else encounter this problem??

Yes...sometimes they stick. Just do your best to unplug them without breaking shit.

vice grips are your friend, if your encountering problems now, uve got aways to go, your axle nut bolts are still gonna be tight as fuck and not come off, your suspension balljoints are a bitch and a half. just keep trying, thats the answer lol.

i really wished i had a helper elephant to get all my bolts loose - but threatening my car seemed to work in the end

for electrical connections, try pliers for a more precise pinch

i noticed connections separate easier if they arent attached to the metal bracket holding them to the side of the engine bay, lift the tab and slide the connector off its tab, then try pulling it apart with your two hands.

there is a bit of difference in removing the axle nut and your wiring harness connectors, im not in the least bit worried about breaking my axle nuts but nervous about breaking the plastic housing or even a pin, get my drift?

edit : cp mike i think ill try that tomorrow thanks

let some wd-40 soak in there, it is conductive, so don't worry. later.

You won't break an axle nut, trust me....It'll be the breaker bar that dies. Get a Sears/Craftsman one so you can take it back when it snaps.

Yeah really those shits snap so often shonuff and i had that problem time after time after time lol. The breakers bars somehow are made cheaply dont know why though whatever happened to the old days when tools actually lasted awhile wthout breaking. Now they are just made up of some cheap ass material that you can break with your hands on some superman shit lol

They have to be removed from the metal mounting tabs, simple as that. The tab locks the clips together and also keps them off the car's body where potential shorts may happen. Trust me, remove them from the metal tabs, they come off like butter...
