swapping manual tranny for manual tranny, they should be identical. its the two wires sticking up from the center of the tranny, the green and yellow ones. they dont use a regular plug, they are both round quick disconnect connectors. only time you need to worry about hooking up reverse lights is when you swap auto to manual?

just what mike said. the reverse lights have two plugs, one is green and one is grn/yel (if i remeber correctly. There will be a soiliniod lookilike thingy near where the shifter cabeles mount up but...closer to the engine.

It's pretty straight forward. good luck

I did this as well, it is very simple but i dont have any pics at the moment... I'm at work and shouldn't be on the computer...., for reverse lights, extend the yellow and green/black wires from auto shifter selector to the wires on the reverse light switch on the tranny. ( colors do not matter, its just completing the circuit). these wires come from the 12 pin conector from the auto shifter.
Since I have no pic, here is a ghetto drawing of how the pins in the terminla are laid out. There are two rows, each letter is a wire, the dash next two the F is an empty pin, the two bold I are places where plastic connector parts go in, and teh little clip thing on the outside is under the second row

The reverse lights are in G and H.
                Hope this helps.
