    F22 motor to BB4 Prelude?

I currently have a prelude with an H22 that I want to swap the engine over to my accord.

I want to swap the F motor into the prelude and I was wondering if it was possible to do so. Has anyone done this before and to what level of difficulty it is?

So I'm assuming that it would be a direct fit just like the H will be on the accord right?

I knew that those years prelude came with h23 and h22 but the f22 thing I didn't know about.

i thought they came in the gen before this one.

Its really easy to swap over just like an h in a accord I helped a friend swapp his because he blowed up his h and all he could afford was a f.

everything is easy...but just make sure u have all the lude parts stay with the lude...u only need the motor/tranny dizzy and ecu/wireharness...thats it no mounts nothing.keep everybolt and nut to the lude and same with the accord..

what year and trim is your accord?

SOME of the F22 transmissions (i think from DX/LX) came without the proper bolt holes to mount the Prelude transmission mount, and you will NOT be able to use this transmission in a prelude.

OTHER F22 transmissions (EX, and the ones from preludes) included an alternate set of bolt holes that allow installation into either chassis - just like the H22 transmissions do.

                - 1993 Accord LX - White sedan (sold)
                - 1993 Accord EX - White sedan (wrecked)

                - 1992 Accord EX - White coupe (sold)

I would keep the lude trans due to it being sportier and you wont have to tap holes for it mount up. I would imagen the harness is the same but with the Vtec wires added in (not 100%). also you will want to try and get the ECU from the years the ludes that came with the f22a motor. Reason is the ecu from those ludes will give you a minimum 10hp bump due to better tuning then the accord ecu, or stock accord ecu.

                  Sold too: Grumpys93, '93CB7Ex, Bunta, prodh22accord, SSMAccord, fleetw00d

The prelude and the accord are the same year so I would guess that it should work?
