i dont have the fan switch hooked up and my fans come on fine and since it didnt need to be hooked up, they may have cut the plug off and taped it up, so there isnt an extra plug hanging in the engine bay to scare burleigh.

and shes right, i believe black and black/yellow are the colors of the IAB wires... so check to see if thats them.

carlos, re-read the end of my previous post, i added a paragraph about the temperature sending unit after you already responded to it.

edit: cant believe i didnt say this yet, but congrats on the swap!!! motor looks extremely clean, so does the engine bay. you should be very happy

yea they did remove the secondaries...i dunno if the box is still on teh back of the motor, i'll check...but im going to reinstall them as soon as i can get a h23 TB to bolt to my h23 upper plenum...can i hook up the IAB's without the box? yea i replaced the engine temp sensor with the f22a one, but it still doent work, so anyone know where the red wire runs to....i think on my old f22a it was ghetto rigged by someone :thumbsdow ....more updates when i get on here more...i hope she stops burnin oil

Damn.. I musta missed this thread...

Great to hear you got it done man...Don't beat on it for awhile... give it an oil change after about 200 miles and then switch to the good oil and run it soft till you hit 2k... that's what I did...

The smoking problem might be the valve stem seals... on my motor the ones on the exhaust side were gone... all hard and nasty...probbaly from sitting for so long... after replacing those any minor oil smoke at idle or accel from idle went away...

and FYI JDM motors don't come with the sensor on the water neck by the radiator... It is a secondary sensor/switch anyways... the main one is the one by the thermostat... even though 'm using the JDM harness and ECU I didn't have it installed with any of the USDM ECU's and had zero problems...It's not a necc sensor/switch...

and yep you sure can hook up and run the IAB's with out the black solenoid box... you just have to run a vac hose from the mani to the round goldish diaphragm...

Good, once I get a TB, i'll be installing the h23 upper plenum...on those valve stem seals...did u use h23's or f22ax's??? easy or hard install....they did a flush on the motor already, so imma get her up to about 1000 then change the oil....then beat on it I kinda too hard up a couple times just to see what it was like....i like the revviness...hehe ...so far so good tho...today i didnt pull an EGR CEL...hmmm and i found out that the red wire for is cut....any ideas on how i can hook up the temp guage again???

F20A...not too pricey, not a big step up from a F22a6..cough...the stock intake mani is a f22a6 manifold, trans is the same as a f22a6....thanks

You mentioned you used an Integra Type R timing belt. It fit no problems? Would this same belt fit on a F22b head with F22a1 block setup? I ask because if so, that means I most likely could find a better quality then Honda OEM stock timing belt that's stronger like Toda or Greddy, etc. I believe they carry this for an Integra Type R.

                        Let me know, thanks!
