i need wheel bearings. what to do with brakes

Well since my wheel bearings are completely shot. they grind like a freakin wheat mill. i was reading about all kinds of break conversions rotor over hubs and hubs over rotors and all that jazz. since im not big on break performance. i have no idea whats going on

while im replacing wheel bearings i was thinking of upgrading my breakes a little bit. What is a fairly cheap way to get bigger rotors and calipers? i know i should search, but im sick and i cant be bother right now.

I've found the brake upgrade thread at accordingly done very helpful to me. I plan to do the full cl brake conversion sooner or later. But I'll start with just the simple rotor over hub conveersion to begin with. I'd reccomend "axxis ultiments" for brake pads no matter what way you go

what exactly is the difference between rotor over hub, and what the accord has?

ok, hub over rotors is what our cars have from the factory. you need to remove the baring and hub in order to get to the rotor in this setup. It's a total PITA to do everytime you need to change out your rotors.

With the rotor over hub conversion rotor swaps can be done during a lunch brake if need be huge time saver and much simpler to do.

just go get some ACura CL hub and bearings(pref at a tire alignment shop and the will press them for you for free, if you buy both together) then get some Prelude Vtec rotors and Calipers. nice upgrade for fairly cheap.

Also i heard, dont know, but you can order prelude vtec calipers and exchange your accord ones as the core charge..

well, i and a couple of my fellows forum members happen to be some of those "idiots behind the parts counters" and i check all my boxes b4 i take emm in. now, that sometimes i just dont give a fuck and bullshit people or let them turn in bullshit cores is a different story. but please dont sterio type, homie. other wise i'll say that all mechanics are jack asses, and all they do is screw you over.
