Neuspeed Sport Cup Kit Sits Way High!!!!

I got another 2 door accord and put the Sport Cup Kit on it, but the front still sits with a 4 inch gap. The back looks good with about a 1.5 inch gap. I just don't understand whats going on here. How long is it supposed to take for these springs to settle? This is the first set of actual springs and struts that I have ever owned besides ghetto stuff. I will add that I have all four cups set to the lowest setting via the circlip.

How long did it take some of the sport cup setups out there to settle? I know there are quite a few people on here with them, and none of their pictures look like mine.

whats that retarded, 4 inches was my stock gap. now I am on neuspeed sports with kyb agx (drop killer) and its lower....but dont expect them to settle 2 inches!

Did you put the cups on the right way? Which way were those metal cups on the koni's facing? up or down? Most common mistake with koni yellows is putting the spring cup facing up, and it kills the drop.

I was unaware that they could be installed upside down. I'll look at the car to make sure, but I seriously doubt I did that......

if both the front passenger and driver are the same height, then something is up with the installation. how much wheel gap did you have before to have 4 inches now?!

Yep my mistake. I had the front cups installed upside down. It looks alot better now. Thanks! Now I'm wondering how much it is going to settle.

I LOVE THE SCK from Neuspeed!

This is what my car looks like after settling. Lowest perch on all shocks.

I dont know much about the Teins, but this suspension mated with my rear ST sway bar makes the car stick to the pavement. I love the way this thing drives right now.

I'm still debating between the Neuspeed CupKit and the Function over Form Type II coilovers.......price difference is $150 in favor of Neuspeeds.

The real problem is that I can't afford either set right now, lol.

Your car looks sweet but I'd have to use the mid-top perches to accommodate country roads, driveways etc...

You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

Well i had written one back a few years ago on both the sports and races.

I am on the skunks with the Konis now but i often think about going back to the race springs now that I have the full poly kit.
