    different shocks front/rear

I can get a great deal on Koni yellow rear shocks ($39/each!), but I don't want to pay $180/each for the fronts. Can I use something else less expensive in the front of the car? Will the car handle weird or bob/weave or anything? The shocks on my car are junk at 126k original miles.

I don't forsee the car ever getting tracked and the most it might ever be lowered is a prokit.

If you dont see the car getting tracked often I dont see anything wrong with mixing and matching. The dampening might be slightly diff but other than that you should be fine.

hahaha, my rear's are agx's and my front's are gr2's

the gr2's are too soft and the rebound is just simply weksos.

39 dollars is a steal, oem replacements dont even go for the cheap.

do it, ppl run mis matched pairs all the time.

they are/were clearing out the standard adjustable ones where you need to pull them off the car to adjust them... the updated externally adj ones (with a knob) are the regular price... but hey i almost clicked Buy myself, thats one hell of a deal for a great pair of shocks...

Haha yea, GR-2 are stiffer than OE but they aren't enough to hold lowering springs still. My car sucked with springs and GR-2s I put in Tokico Blues after about two weeks, still don't like the Blues but my next money on suspension will go to Megan Racing coilovers. Dunno why, but I'm a diehard Megan fan!
