    5 lug conversion question

i have 97 prelude knuckles that have been waiting to be swapped onto my car. but i was just wondering if any of you guys have changed the lower ball joint instead of grinding out the lower control arm. reason i ask is because i pressed out the prelude ball joint and tried using the accord ball joint but the accord one is too small just by a little. just wondering if there was any other alternative. thanks guys

lude LCAs are entirely different and are nowhere close to fitting...

unless you can find a balljoint that fits the lude knuckle and has a 17mm nut, your only option is grinding...

alright so i did the front 5 lug conversion over the weekend. only problem is i have positive camber on one side. and negative camber on the other. i dont understand why i would have positive camber. ive done an alignment on it already. just wondering if a camber kit would help at all. cuz i kno there supposed to help negative camber. but would they help positive??

try and get a camber kit

if u push (pump) ur arms, theres a possibility it might damage ur bearings and stuff

btw, how'dya get positive on one side and negative on the other? i got a lil positive camber (0.9 deg) when loaded with me only, but when unloaded, its almost neutral..

yeah i dunno its weird. i didnt use different UCAs. there both accord. i used same prelude knuckles. are lude UCAs shorter than accord ones? or same? i need somethin that'll pull the knuckle in more. i dunno its weird. i got +2.0 on the left and -1.8 on the right. i have spare lude UCAs from a 94. they have camber kits on em. ill try giving that a shot. other than that i dunno

Maybe your front crossmember is shot. Or the knuckles were from a crashed car

the lude uca is shorter then the cb so the lude knuckle naturally gives a camber difference. before trying to figure out any camber problems (either + or -) you should get a camber kit for the front and go from there.
