You should make more of these...and like...sell em. I wonder if this would make the car's rear end too snappy though...and could you keep a spare? Quality work though man.

                thanks guys..

                1. ya its bolted to the bumper supports,i figure thats the best place for it right?

2.the car is definately stiffer, i can feel more of the road, feels solid, like it should.

3.and yes the spare fits just fine. i can even remove the entire bar as one piece, even though its tricky.

i would be able to make more of these but i dont know how many people would be seriosly interested. the last group buy i had didnt go to well.

i'm thinking about doing a custom roll bar for my bucket seat's 4 point harness. how much did you pay to get stuff welded?

It would be very cool if you could make a unit that dissassembles to make shipping costs that much lower.

I assume this unit bolts to the points where it meets the frame, not welded?

on the stairs, she grabs my arm, says whats up,
where you been, is something wrong?
i try to just smile, and say everything’s fine.

if i made one that disassembles, the rigidity would be lost. the entire brace is bolt in, its not welded to the body. Now i have to make a badass brace for the front.....

wallace made a bolt on one a while back, and it also had a bolt-in regular rear strut bar too:

did he have to drill holes for the rear mounts?

these just bolt onto the bvumper support nuts

there are holes there stock, but they dont go all the way through... yes, he drilled them, and they lead directly through the frame rails... notice the little brackets that are bolted down, the X bar is removable from the little U brackets.

but yeah, bolting directly to the bumper support nuts is easier IMO. if i made a X bar, id do the same as RENR.
