Don't forget...everytime you adjust the suspension you have to get an alignment. My advice is..if this is your only car and lowering it is impratical for driving, then leave it stock height. It makes no sense to get raising and lowering the car to suit the weather conditions.

as i just said in a thread yesterday. if there is enough snow on the street, where it is hitting your front bumper, do you really think you are gonna get traction with your tires anyway?

i was droped + body kit for 2 winters and never had a problem "plowing"

Plowing doesn't really affect the amount of traction you have. You want traction? Get snow tires. I have a similar drop and have had no issues for the past 3 years.

since you're in boston and you know the conditions, i wouldn't consider a 2.5" drop right away. sure it looks great, but with the roads around here, you will scrape every so often unless you can dodge everything. maybe try going for a 2" drop, or 1.7"f 1.5"r, which is what i am doing

just get a lift kit for the winter and slam it when it heats back up

Dammit, just plow some snow and don't worry about it. It's not like the snow will jump up and eat your car.
