For maximum terrain following capability (maintain good tyre contact at all four wheels over undulating surfaces) you want springs that require a lot of compressing to fit to the damper body, which implies soft springs. If the springs don't need to be compressed (or compressed much) to fit onto the damper then this implies that the springs are quite stiff, and the car will be more prone to 'teetering' on a diagonal wheel axis, with less weight on the lightly loaded diagonal.

Anti roll bars will contribute to the same thing, i.e. cause more weight to be carried on one diagonal axis with less weight distributed to the other axis when traversing undulating ground, so greater tendency for one driven wheel to lose traction as it 'lightens'.

Removing the ARBs will reduce this tendency and improve traction on rough ground, but it should be kept in mind that the car will become rather unstable at higher speeds, especially with soft springs. Body roll will increase (especially with a higher CG created by the chassis lift), as will the relative front / rear roll stiffness, which will change the handling balance of the car. Since the front ARB is a lot stiffer than the rear ARB, removing just the front ARB, or both the ARBs, will lessen the tendency for the car to understeer, perhaps to the point that the car will be prone to oversteering at speed.

The handling of the car will be substantially changed with a higher CG, a reduction in sum roll stiffness, and an altered ratio of front vs rear roll stiffness. The handling may well become rather erratic and dangerous at higher speeds, just how badly depending on how long the piece of string may be...

Moar pics. Strut and spring fitment. Whole car not just the side where it can be faked with a floor jack. Not suggesting it is but it needs to be verified fully to where its unquestionable. So you get the credit you deserve for one.

More pictures as promised! The front is 1.25 inches lower. Hoping it will settle even or I'll make a spacer or something. Enjoy!

seriously now all you need is a skid plate and Stainless brake lines and you will be good to go offroading.

as far as i understand it, the overall spring/shock assembly can't be any longer than stock, since the shock is a fixed length and can only extend so far... That being the case, the installed spring pressure must be stiffer than stock, enough that the body weight of the car doesn't compress the suspension as much as it normally does, holding the car up higher when at rest. Probably has reduced upward motion, but there's plenty room for that, and there is always plenty of gravity ready to pull it back down. Did you have to compress them extra far to fit onto the shock? Or are they just that much stiffer, but a similar overall size? The CRV isnt THAT much heavier, I would have guessed that the springs would probably have been pretty similar to the stock accord ones. but you certainly got some height out of it. Does it ride extra stiff or anything? Do those koni's have an adjustable perch? And if so, what level do you have it on?

this is quite a clever solution for winter driving, i gotta say.

Well I just went off roading with it. Nothing too serious but it made it. I'm gonna need to make a skid plate that's for sure! But yes its much stiffer then stock, I had to compress the front springs a great deal but the backs were like stock. But the koni struts I have aren't the yellows which have the perchs you can move....took plenty of pictures tho guys. Ran into an issue with the sway bar like most off road cars/trucks. So I discounted the end links for now. And the upper control arm bushing/anchor bolts aren't to happy. Replaced the drivers side twice and now I have this squeak over huge bumps

I am honestly shocked it worked and with a camber kit it would be perfect, but keep this in mind, you're warranty on the struts is probably now void.
