When I hit a bump I can feel the rear of the car kinda shake side to side. I have a LX which means no sway bar...but is that my problem?

It has to be suspension related then.
The reason i said tires was because i had a CB with the same problem.
It turned out to be a shifted belt in the rear tire.

check all the bolts, ball joints, and bushings in the rear suspension. I would suspect the rear trainling arm bushing(#41) or the rear toe adjuster bolt(#31)

i would think rear shocks, though its not clear what you mean by shake side to side. try pushing down on the back corners of the car to see how bouncy it is.
