For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

if your staying auto with an auto mount, keep the vaccum. if your going 5spd or changing to a 5spd mount, plug the line were it hooks up to the engine.

so i'll keep the vacuum line, but i don't think that's gonna hold... should i fill it with that polyurethane stuff AND keep the vacuum line or what ...?

id say just plug the line if your keeping it auto. what are your tranny plans once you turbo?

as for the 5 spd mount, as long as its in decent condition and you dont beat on the motor every day, should be alright, you can fill them with 94a if you want, but ive been running on 3 stock motor mounts for about 6 months now with no problems except a little rougher of a ride when you shift hard. i know accordr33 had stock mounts for a long time, just some engine movement, nothing seriously detrimental.

My plans are keepeing the auto tranny and building it stronger later, no 5speed swap on this one...

so should i block off the line AND fill 'em?

Highly suggest you fill your mounts. 1.5 years of abuse on mine, real abuse, and they have gone to hell. If you don't fill them, at least buy new ones.

hmm... sounds good, so just get the whole rear mount assembly from a 5 speed and then what? block off the vacuum line or just take off the whole lil valve?...

get the mount and the bracket on the back of the motor, and just pull out everything and leave the plug hanging. youll need to cap off the open nipple on the back of the manifold.
