H22A1/4 Alternative ECU

Good Afternoon,

I hope this is a good place to post this questions. I have a H22A4 at home that I'd like to test. Unfortunately I don't have a ECU to use. I was curios if there is a Alternative ECU with comparable maps that the H22A4 would run off of? Every ECU I find on eBay is $150 plus, and it's very rare to come across a p13 OBD1 ECU here in KC at the yards. I see H23s quite a bit from the 4th gen prelude but it's usually F22A preludes and yet to see a H22A1 in a 4th gen.

Do you need an auto or manual Ecu?

i assume youd be wiring it up OBD1, in that case you can use any of the civic ECUs. P05, P06, P28. they are all pretty easy to mod and add components to add missing functionality (vtec, iab, auto to manual, etc)

I might have a P06, I'll have to check. I know I have a ECU in the garage that is hondata compatible but it didn't have any options like vtec, and iabs.

@grumpy - It doesn't matter unless it can't be tricked from auto to manual. If it can, I can always just solder the jumper to switch it. This last summer/fall I had to remove and re-solder an immobilizer for GTRON on his 6th gen accord manual swap. I love soldering.
