From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.


The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.


For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.


Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

    Will an LX camshaft work for a delta regrind

    as title says, i may be buying an lx camshaft for 50 dollars, are lx/ex cams the same?

    please help, i may be buying one today so i need your guys' help!

          Lx and Ex have slightly different cams, but if your getting the same regrind on it, i'm sure it makes no differece.

              camshaft for 50 bucks damn thats about double of what i paid for my EX camshaft. Mine was only 27 bucks at the junkyard AKA Pick and Pull. ...... took me about 1 hour to take it out of the A6 motor in the sun of 102 degree.

                27 usd = 35 cad.

                im paying 50 cad for the camshaft. yeah u got a better buy than me thats great. i think im going to contact delta.

                  just phoned they said it makes no difference for regrind. 65usd for the regrind. im gonna do this let u guys know how it turns out!

                    F22a1 and F22a4 cams are the same. F22a6 cam has more lift and duration on the intake and exhaust lobes. I got an f22a6 cam reground, just to be on the safe side, buy it having more material to work with.
                    12.5 at 114.6mph 15psi
                    11.7 and 11.5 20.5psi
                    F22a1
                    60-1 td06h turbo
                    Darton mid sleeves
                    85.5 wiseco 8.8:1 forged pistons
                    Crower pro billet rods
                    Custom ported head.

                      i sent an LX camshaft to delta for PM... and hes getting the 272, so i guess itll work just fine. at least it better.
