fiberglass is the best but ur molding will be the issue and cardboard can be used there along with mdf chickenwire and fleece. just subs them self are light its the boxes that get heavy....Members Ride sold...

Do you want them to sound like sh*t?
The box has to be stiff so it doesn't resonate and act like a speaker.
The only thing making sound should be the speaker cone.
