    door sensors

Hey, my door sensors on my 92 LX aren't working. The door and dome light don't turn on when the doors are open. The dome light and 2 driver side doors light up when you push the sensor around a little. Also the doors aren't shown as open on the car map on the gauges until I push around the sensors. Any suggestions?

You can try to take them apart, and sand down the contact points and see if that works, and if not, you can find new ones @ the junkyard, and they just gave mine to me. not sure what they would cost @ the dealer.

What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.

You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

The new part number is 35400-S10-xxx Sorry, I forgot what the last three are, but they are about $10 each. EVERY Honda or Acura dealer will have them as most all of the cars use the same model.

If yours don't work then I have one available from the 3rd gens but they still work for 4th gens, in fact the 3rd gens are metal so they last longer than the plastic 4th gens pictured on my website. 3 bucks for one, email me at my site. http://www.angelfire.com/ok4/u2pac/
