    positive and negative connection?

    I just brought a pair of pioneer TS-g1647 speakers and wanted to know which side is positive and which is negative. Can annyone help me.

    there should be 2 prongs right...i think big is positive and small is negitive.

    there is a way u can use a 12 volt battery to test. i think if u hook the 12 v to the speaker terminals, if it goes in and ur lines are on negitive then ur wrong, if it pops out on positive ur right

    What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.

    You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

      I checked and theres no signs, but i'll try the battery tester.

          yea i found it, one is bigger than the other. So that means the bigger one is positive.
