      something needs to be connected to that CD changer port on the back of the stock radio for it to output any audio. be it a real CD changer (you pictured the plug) or the null plug installed. if you just leave the connector open and unused it wont work. you can find a plug on the back of any radio that was in a car without a changer.

        If your SE has (or had) the Bose system with the amp in the trunk, the wiring is quite different. The Bose system used a common ground system for the speakers, so you will need the SE dash harness, at least for the radio... Also, the Bose system had 4 ohm speakers instead of the standard 8 ohm on the standard radio. I had to rewire the speakers in my SE to use an aftermarket deck as the Bose system was long gone when I got the car and the radio that it had been replaced with was a very hokey install job.

          Damn so that is where they install lojack on our cars. Lots of work to install them then. Taking out the dash and such.

            probably could manage to get that in there just by removing the glovebox. also judging by the single screw and the angle its pointing at.

            as for your silent audio...
