    headlight conversion

ok. ive looked and looked but couldnt find what i was looking for.

i want to do the 9006-to-9005 conversion but i have a question. when you do the conversion what do you put in place of the 9006 bulb? do you put your 9006(low beam) bulb into your highbeam spot whiel your high beam bulb(9005) is in the low beam spot? or do you just get some more 9005 bulbs and put into your low beam spot?

does anyone get what im saying? i need a little clarification on this

9005 highbeams are brighter than 9006 low beams.

why would you upgrade the lowbeams just to downgrade the highbeams?

wouldnt it make sense to put 9005s in both spots?

Brandoncb7 - I don't mean to come across like an ass but I see why you irritate Aaron now.

All you have to do is get another set of 9005 sockets off a donor car, get pair of 9005 bulbs. Cut the 9006 off the car and spice the 9005 socket on. Then u will need to cut the socket hole on the headlight assembly for the 9006 to make the 9005 socket fit b/c its bigger.

You may have to glue or tape the 9005 socket in place to help how it.
