Has anyone ordered from RacerWheel? is it a reputable company?

You can get THESE on Ebayatch for about $7 cheaper. IMO they don't look like the ones you posted but these are true JDM ambers. Check it out and critique for yourself...

no. They are not. There is no such thing as tru JDM amber corner for the cb7. Actually the first ones posted look more JDM than the ones you posted.

I gotta go with Lithium on this one. The first ones posted look more JDM. Look more like Vision amber corners.

            nitpicking

okay, i'm trying to think of how i should feel about the responses i got. on the one hand, i got a reply that seemed to say that $25 was perhaps a bit high for a set of amber lenses. on the other hand, i had some people calling amber lenses JDM and others saying that they look JDM or that these look more JDM than another set of amber lenses... or whatever.

two things: JDM means Japanese Domestic Market. the only thing that looks JDM, in the way of corner lenses, are lenses that are attached permanently to the headlight fixtures. oh, and they have to be clear. JDM is another way of sayinig NOEM, or Nihon Original Equipment Manufacturer.

okay, maybe that was only one thing. but hopefully i've made my point. i don't mean to get up on a soap box or go on a tirade or anything, i just can't stand the way "JDM" is getting thrown around to describe something thats "Just Damn Magestic;" and while it may be cool looking, is in no way related to the japan domestic market version of something.

that said, despite seeming nonplussed about the input, i am grateful for the posts. i'm just nitpicking.

so i guess i should be able to find full ambers for under $25 then.

            casper out.

hmm... i know what u mean.

full ambers are never JDM, but on ebay they are advertised as so. probly because it gives a "JDM look", whatever that is.

the pic you posted looks like its just an OEM corner colored totally amber, because it has the reflective part in it. the second pic posted by y2knowledge are the really cheap sucky lenses. i think lithium said urs looked "more JDM" because they looked more like they could be an OEM part compared to the cheap ones, but made the point that there is no such thing as JDM ambers.

if u can find the same ones for a little cheaper then i guess $25 isnt the best. but dont get those crappy ones.

                hey, thanks mike.

an OEM corner colored totally amber
EXACTLY. and that's what i want. i always thought that the amber insert in USDM OEM corners looked unfinished, so when the full clear corners came out, i snatched up a pair (for like $100/pair at the time, whew!). i didn't realize it until a year ago, because i didn't install them myslef, but the full clears came with clear bulbs. i had always thought they looked a bit off. so when one of my bulbs burnt out, i replaced both side-marker portions with amber bulbs.

having done that, and had the time to reflect on how it looks, i've come to the conclusion that i kinda don't care if they are full clear or full amber, but that i just don't like the piece-meal look of having the amber insert. and that brings me to where i am now: i still like the way the full clears look with an amber bulb in the side marker, but i'm thinking that full amber lenses might look better (uniformity of color -for the corner itself). i'm a minimalist at heart when it comes to automobiles (and it is for this reason that i cannot stand the celica or tibouron). anyway, i'm at risk of rambling here, so i'd better stop.

                succinctly put, *snaps* for mike.
