ok i am about to buy a set of hids. Ok now i know my lows are 9005 and highs 9006 but what is that in the H term like is it H1 H2 H3 H4 what????. B.c i read the sticky on our lights in this forum but it said we have H4 but that is for jdm only so what is it for a usdm. Thats all

USDM is just 9005/9006, thats it... no H names for them. the H things are a different style connector, i think its a japanese thing. w/ the JDM headlights u use H1/H4 bulbs.

the 900# series bulbs is more of a U.S. standard. only recently have the european and japanese started using the 900# bulbs for headlamps/fogs. most have been using h1/h3/h4/h7/h9.
given that... a 9006 bulb is also known as an hb4. NOT an h4, but an hb4.Once upon a time I took a joyride in a Huayra...
