I have a question. You used 16 guage wire right throughout the install right? Where did you mount the relay under the hood so that it is not prone to heat/moisture? And how do you tap into the pins in the fusebox under the driver's side? Do I just shove the wire in under the fuses? Thx

How is the switch for the ebay kit? I understand that you used the OEM switch cause you had it but is the other (ebay) switch like the OEM switch? Will it fit in the same spot and work the same? That is all I care about for now.

fog switch from the ebay kit are cheaply made. only lasted for a few months. Ebay switch will fit in the same spot as with the OEMs and are functionaly the same but not in terms of durability.

jdm h22a CD8 FOGLIGHTS

i JUST PURCHASED CD8 H22A YELLOW FOGLIGHTS WITH SWITCH, DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT THE DIFFERENT COLOR WIRE ARE FOR?
2 bLACK THAT SHOULD BE GROUND, ONE RED WITH YELLOW STRIP THAT SHOULD BE POWER, AND 2 RED WITH BLACK LINE? no clue ANY IDEAS!

i just used the fog light kit from a 94-95 for the harness and the switch as my switch did not have the plug in the back of the switch so i used the switch too,seems to be working fine the harness works great came with relay and everything but the connector is different from my jdm foglight switch.

has anyone answered the question of all the wiring colors on the foglights? i'm still confused to why the 2 wires from the fogs spead out to 5 then go back to 2 again going to the other fog. since my harness was cut idk wat to do. i bought an aftermarket wiring kit but i can't match the 2 up to make my fogs work..

My Edm harness goes: 2 wires from each fog(1 blue/red stripe) and (1 black) the black forms into 1 ground.Then I have the blue/red striped that goes to the rest of my harness that goes through the firewall into the car. which has two plug-ins that go underneith of the dash and then that goes to the switch.
I could take pics of it if need be.
