what do these mean i order 9005s but ive been looking at post and people have 9005s in the highs and 9006s in lows but i need them for my lows will they work?

9006 is the lowbeam bulb, and 9005 is the highbeam bulb. they have very similar bases, so people have modified a set of 9005 highbeam bulbs to plug into and fit into the lowbeam part of the headlight... so they have brighter lowbeams. i admit its a great mod... looks really nice.
