92/93 jdm headlights on a 90/91?

i have a 91 will 92-93 jdm headlights fit or do i have to change the fenders??

shape wise, the JDM headlights are the same as USDM headlights (of matching years, of course)... the headlights only differed between years. this topic has been brought up countless times, running a search will bring up lots of results, but heres a couple threads that just about covered it all (headlights, fitting, swapping, grilles...)
