F'ed Up JDM sidemarkers. *pics* i f"ed UP!!

Yeah I fucked up and yeah. I mean I got them in but i have to make the hole a little bigger. took me 2 hrs and it's still not right. But when the light was shining on it it's all bent in around the light shit sucks. I mean it might not be that bad but i dunno.

what should I do about this?

Apart from a few scratches in the first pic it looks pretty good. I bet you were cold doing it too.

cant tell in pics, what i would suggest is taking the thing back out and using whatever tools necessary to try to straighten the edges out. very soft pulls and bends with pliars covered with fabric, or a flathead screwdriver... looks fine in pics, so anything you straighten out can only help..

that's just tape around it. I couldnt get anything else off becuase my hands were frozen. And what im talking about is that it looks like theres a dent around the sidemarker from me trying to push it in :-/

        ah oh well...

wayne, i know exactly what happened... you made the hole a tiny bit too small, then those 4 tiny plastic bumps at each corner made it too tight to fit in, so u pushed it in and it made a couple dents? i was having the same problem, except they were just getting caught up on the thick layer of paint i put on the edge... which made me realize what was happening and i made the hole bigger.

i wouldnt worry about it, enlarge it a bit where the dents are (because thats obviously where it is getting stuck) and pull them out a bit... paint along the bare edges and stick it back in. it really doesnt look bad, at least in pictures...

Did you purposely put them in backwards?

Go look around at other jdm sidemarkers... thin part goes the the front, then it elevates toward the back.
Did you follow the sidemarker template thats on here???
If you would have, theyd be in the right way...
I dunno how youll fix it now that you got your fenders cut already.
