inverted CD player/dash pocket

Curious to know if n e one besides myself has switched the dash pocket from underneath the tape or CD player and put it above. ill have pics as soon a i can get them

I've never seen any pictures of that. I think I'd ratheir have the radio where the a/c is if I really wanted to move it.
but lets see some pics! cool to see other places to put the head unit

Yeah I agree, I'd love to have my HU up where the A/C controls are. Then I could do a AVIC-N1 LOL, but I'm not planning to ICE it up. Just a simple Pioneer CD/MP3, but it would make it more viewable.

I put my cd player at the bottom but mainly to make room for my digital spectrum analyzer (EQ) at top.

hmm... they are different sizes tho. the a/c controls are alot bigger... let us know how it turns out (with pics!)

you can fabricate a din plate that will cover up the left over space.

conversion

the climate control conversion to the under dash where the cd player originally goes , ill say simple step to do ... thats what am working on right now , since the climate control spacer is a lil spacier for the radio ,, all you have to do it get exact meausurements of it maybe an american radio kit would fit in there perhaps chevy ,, right now am working on the conversion ill have pics and details once is done ... evrything is out and ready to start the mods.
