So am I the only one that hates these?

So im doing some cleaning on the car.And I wanted to take the door panels off, to wash the speaker covers. As I get ready to unscrew the door handle,I cross my fingers that i dont break the screw covers off.Yeah those cheap ass little plastic covers held on by a paper thin piece of plastic.Well that was wishful thinking...I ended up breaking both of them!!! One went flying under the car and the other hit me in the damn face.Doesnt that just piss you off?I surely cant be the only one.later

Yeah those little screw covers are terrible. I went to the junkyard to see if I could find some, and every cb7 there had theirs broken off.

on the stairs, she grabs my arm, says whats up,
where you been, is something wrong?
i try to just smile, and say everything’s fine.

haha... yeah. the first time i took them out i was able to get them out, but i stopped caring after that. they arent worth the effort of saving, since they break so freaking easily.

x2. Amen. The first time i popped one off (screw covers, that is ) I was like, "oh! gonna need that. Better save that and put that over here..." then put everything back together and when i went to do it again, it got bent/messed up by the tool i was using. So i was all upset and shit, but now i dont think i have any of em left As a matter of fact i like ppl seing my screws, lol. And plus its kinda like ive gone from standard brace to a quick brace. I dont have to worry about the covers, i just jam in the screwdriver, unscrew and voila.

I don't recall those covers being a separate part from the interior door handle, since its attached. Yeah I managed to break through one, but I caught the part and used a tiny dab of krazy glue. They are supposed to be hinged at (I believe the left end, so you can pry them out on the right). But as you can see there really isn't enough plastic.
