Im not that concerned about the airbag working (maybe swapping the clock spring over might fix it), but what i want to know is does it fit? I went to a local junkyard, and since the guy was really reluctant to do so, and wouldnt let me see for myself, he said the prelude spline is larger than the accords (I gave up trying to argue w/ the guy to let me go back to the yard and check for myself), therefore it doesnt fit, yet I see accords with s2k steering wheels or dc2 integra steering wheels. The prelude wheel looks like a leather wrapped version of the 96-00 civic steering wheels. I just want to know if the prelude one will physically fit on there. maybe someone can get some numerical measurements? I already have a bb6 airbag, but I need the steering wheel and would like to make sure of fitmet before i buy the steering wheel itself. I'm ok with the oem look, it would just be nicer to have a factory leather wrapped wheel, and something not old and worn like the one i have now. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

but yes the splined part is definately larger. also, the lude uses an actual bolt to hold the wheel to the column, the accord of course uses a 19mm nut... if you swap the lude wheel onto the accord column and put the nut on, the wheel is loose and just spins under the nut, and without the splines matching up, the column doesnt turn.
and just so you know, the lude clock spring swaps right onto the accord column. none of the plugs match so rewiring plugs would be required, but swapping the whole thing over is a start. the accord clock spring has the two pegs on either side and the lude clock spring has the pegs on the top and bottom (or it may be the other way around, i forget)... i tried rotating the accord clock spring 90° and it fit, minus the wiring, also it binded up when you turned the wheel too far, so you cant use the accord one.

Don't quote me on this, but I think Honda switched steering wheel splines when they went ODBII, or around that time. That's why old steering wheels (i.e. the old Prelude, etc.) fit our cars, but the S2000 wheel won't; and generic EK/DC2/CD folks are swapping S2000 wheels without issue.
So in a nutshell, no, the BB6 wheel will not fit your CB...

i want to make a custom adapter to mate the splines but it would be really hard to do that. they are only off by a few tenths of an inch. plus the wiring reel would not work properly as well as the signal canel. i'm tempted to sell my s2k wheel and just go aftermarket. at least that'll work.
